Building a culture of care (an afternoon for Church leaders with Biblical Counselling UK)

On the Friday afternoon we will be running an event for church leaders looking at how to set a vision, build a structure and ensure congregation members are inspired and equipped for works on service in ways that promote gospel care. Beginning with an optional light lunch at 1pm, and continuing with an interactive seminar from 2-4pm, this afternoon is suitable for pastors, elders, staff members and those in strategic voluntary roles within the local church (men and women).

Growing Young Disciples: Fortify Day

Fortify Days for everyone involved in kid’s and youth ministry and are run in partnership with Growing Young Disciples. The aim is to encourage, resource and equip those who are passionate about raising the next generation to know Jesus and live for God’s glory.

This year we’ll be helping participants to think deeply about what the Lord God says on the issue of passing on the faith to the next generation; a generation who are growing up in an increasingly post-truth / post-Christian culture.

Please join us as we mine the riches of God’s Word for help and guidance, join together to sing the praises of our loving Father, and unite in prayer for the children and teens entrusted to our care. On the Saturday, we will be starting with coffee at 9.30am and then, from 10am-3.30pm, we’ll be looking at how we can all play our part in growing churches that care well. Through our prayers, our love, our listening and our words – rooted in Scripture – we all have a role to play in the one-anothering of the local church. These events are suitable for anyone in the congregation who wants to grow in their care of others.
